DARK
GENESIS - The Birth of the PSI Corps, by J Gregory Keyes
This book, based on an original outline by JMS,
is a complex read, beginning with the discovery
of telepaths in 2115, through to the
establishment of the PSI Corps, charged with the
location, tagging and monitoring of all telepaths
for their own protection. At over 250 pages, it
tested my staying power with its tales of
political intrigue, but was worth the effort in
the end, giving a "set in stone"
background to later events involving Bester and
the corps.
IN
THE BEGINNING
by Peter David
Based on JMS's screenplay, this great novel, told
from Londo's perspective at the end of his life,
links the events leading up to the TV series. It
fills in and fleshes out those events seen in the
movie but fleetingly, and is a "must
read" for all B5 fans. Even if you're not
addicted to the B5 universe, you'll enjoy this
book!
